The collar has a 3 inch width for optimal posture correction with a length of 16.5 inches.

Like any posture collar, it will force the wearer to continually look straight ahead. Both the top and the bottom of the width of the collar have been reinforced with thicker leather to ensure that it makes it uncomfortable for the wearer to look to the sides or look down.
